HOW DO I RESERVE A STORAGE UNIT?

The fastest and easiest way to reserve a storage unit is to call us at 816.916.6636, we will be happy to help you navigate the rental process. We make it simple and easy, you’ll be in your very own storage space in no time.

WHAT SECURITY FEATURES OR MEASURES DO YOU OFFER AT YOUR LOCATION?

We always encourage our tenants to be cautious and we’re committed to keeping your belongings safe! In addition to well-lit areas, we have surveillance cameras to help provide a secure, stress-free storage experience.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING STORED IN MY STORAGE UNIT?

You may not store any items that are explosive, flammable, odorous, hazardous, corrosive or perishable. These items can include food, drinks, fireworks, propane tanks, chemicals, etc. If you think you have an item that you are unsure about, please contact your site manager for clarification. We also require that your stored items not have a total value over $5,000. If you're storing valuables worth more than $5,000 your lease will need to note the total value and signed by yourself and the property manager.

WHEN CAN I ACCESS MY STORAGE UNIT?

We encourage tenants to access their storage units during the hours of 8am to 10pm. With that said we realize there may be an occasion where you need to access outside of these hours and you do have complete access at all times, 7 days a week.


DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO RESERVE A UNIT?

You don't need a credit card. You can reserve a storage unit today and pay at your convenience.


HOW DO I MOVE OUT?

Though we hate to see anyone go, we make the move-out process as simple as possible. Just let us know you're leaving and empty your unit, we'll close out your account the day your unit is cleared. As a courtesy, we do ask that you give us notice that you will be vacating your unit one month before you leave.


CAN I CHANGE MY STORAGE UNIT SIZE LATER?

We're happy to help you select a different unit or additional units should you find that your needs have changed at a later date.


DO YOU REQUIRE INSURANCE?

We require all customers to carry insurance on their personal belongings.

WHAT’S THE MINIMUM LEASE TERM?

We understand storage needs often come with commitment issues, which is why our storage units are done on a month-to-month basis.

HOW IS YOUR LOCATION?

Archie Storage has been locally owned and operated near Kansas City for a number of years now. We are conveniently located off of 49 Highway. It is easy for you to find and keep your belongings in our storage securely.

DO YOU REFUND OR PRORATE THE MOVE OUT?

All of our leases are month-to-month and we do not prorate move out. If you have moved out by the first of the month, you will not be billed for that month.

HOW OFTEN WILL MY RATE INCREASE?

From time to time, we may have minimal adjustments to our rental rates. We strive to provide the most competitive rates, but we also want to maintain the best facilities in the industry.

WHEN IS MY RENT DUE?

Your rental fees are always due on the first of the month.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY RENT IS LATE?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. Refer to your country, state, or provincial guidelines and please check your lease for more information regarding the delinquency process.

WHAT IF WATER GETS IN MY UNIT?

If there is water in your unit, please contact us as soon as possible. We do recommend you keep valuables up off the floor for protection. Although we have never seen water seep into the units we are not liable for any damage you may incur.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY UNIT IS AUCTIONED?

It is not our intention to auction away your belongings. You will be notified multiple times before an auction occurs, so you have more than enough time to resolve your delinquency.

WHEN ARE YOUR STORAGE LOCKER AUCTIONS?

There is no schedule for auctions; they're only done as needed.
